Cinnamon added to coffee may aid appetite and blood‑sugar control

Research suggests that mixing ground Ceylon cinnamon into a morning cup of coffee can help stabilise blood‑sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. The spice may reduce cravings and support weight management when combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Nutritionists recommend adding about a half‑teaspoon of cinnamon to brewed coffee, noting that Ceylon cinnamon contains lower amounts of coumarin than cassia varieties, making it a safer daily option.
