Cinquefrondi launches citizen mayor initiative

In Cinquefrondi, Mayor Michele Conia has renewed the ‘Siamo tutti sindaci’ (We are all mayors) initiative, which allows residents to experience municipal administration firsthand. Participants can shadow the mayor for one or more days, attending official meetings of the Giunta and City Council, as well as observing daily activities within municipal offices.

The project aims to increase transparency and strengthen trust between citizens and local institutions by demonstrating the complexities of public management. The initiative is open to residents aged 16 and older, specifically targeting younger generations to foster closer engagement with institutional life.
