CINTAA President alleges office lockout by CAWT

Poonam Dhillon, president of the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA), has alleged that the Cine Artistes Welfare Trust (CAWT) has blocked CINTAA staff and elected Executive Committee members from entering the CINTAA Tower.

Dhillon stated that the association received an email claiming CAWT is the actual owner of the building. She contested this claim, noting that CINTAA members contributed Rs 6 crore toward the tower's construction when CAWT was facing a fund shortage. According to Dhillon, the original arrangement intended for the building to house a common office for both organizations and support welfare activities for CINTAA members. Security personnel were reportedly deployed at the premises to prevent access to the office.
