Regional agricultural and cultural fairs launch across South America

Various regional fairs and cultural festivals are being organized across South America to support local producers and community engagement.

In Paraguay, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) is hosting eight family agriculture fairs in cities including Asunción and San Lorenzo to promote food sovereignty and rural development. In Argentina, Chacabuco is holding the ‘Producir y Sabores’ fair featuring over 300 families, while Rosario is running the ‘Feria en tu Barrio’ to provide fresh food at accessible prices. Additionally, Saladas has announced its 23rd Honey Festival, and Cipolletti has unveiled the program for its 2026 Book Fair.

In Ecuador, the Río Negro parish held a Naranjilla Fair to highlight local agricultural identity and support rural economies through direct sales between farmers and consumers.
