Cipolletti stadium collapse injures four spectators
Four people were injured after a concrete slab collapsed at the La Visera de Cemento stadium in Cipolletti, Argentina. The incident occurred in the North stand, near Pasaje Kleppe, just minutes before the start of a Federal A quarter-final match between Cipolletti and Sol de América.
The structural failure caused spectators to fall several meters from one of the higher sections of the stands. Emergency personnel provided immediate assistance on-site before the victims were transported to the Pedro Moguillansky Hospital. According to official reports and statements from Club Cipolletti, all four individuals are in good condition and are recovering favorably.
Following the accident, the match proceeded after a brief delay, resulting in a 6-1 victory for Cipolletti. The club has announced that official inspections and maintenance work will be conducted on all stadium stands starting Monday to ensure safety for upcoming matches.
