CIPVE congress and Caldea hotel expansion scheduled for November

The second edition of the International Swine Congress of Venezuela (CIPVE) is scheduled to take place at the Hotel Hesperia in Valencia on November 25, 26, and 27. Organized by Agro & Negocios, the event aims to professionalize the sector through academic training, featuring over 30 international and national presentations on topics such as biosecurity, nutrition, pathology, and genetics. CEO José Quintero noted that the Venezuelan swine industry is showing signs of recovery, with per capita pork consumption rising from one kilogram per year to five kilograms.

In Andorra, Caldea expects to open its new hotel during the second half of November to coincide with the 2026-2027 winter season. Director Miguel Pedregal stated that construction is in its final stages and remains on schedule. The new accommodation aims to meet client demand for integrated thermal and lodging experiences, particularly ahead of the Christmas season.
