Circa Marine 24m Explorer Yacht Commissioned and Arcadia A80 Yacht Launched

An American buyer has commissioned the third Circa Marine 24 m Explorer yacht, with the keel laid in Whangārei, New Zealand. The build, overseen by Ocean Vault and its director Shaun Sutherland, involves a team of more than 45 workers and is slated to take about 18 months. Sutherland said the client was convinced by the design’s look, layout and finish, noting the buyer’s “total confidence in the pedigree and quality of the build.”

Arcadia Yachts launched hull number three of its A80 series, the third megayacht of the year. The 78‑ft‑8‑in (23.98 m) vessel features a custom “Maine Blue” colour scheme, extensive glass walls, a large flying bridge and standard solar panels to reduce diesel use. The repeat‑client owners requested bespoke interiors, from marble baths to custom‑blended leather, while also tailoring crew spaces such as a flag locker and chart table.
