Circet Europe approved to acquire Paralos Group in Greece

The Hellenic Competition Commission has unanimously approved the acquisition of exclusive control over the Paralos Group by Circet Europe SAS. The transaction involves Paralos Energy Private Capital Company and its subsidiaries.

The Paralos Group specializes in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of energy projects, as well as the installation of systems such as SCADA. While Circet Europe is a portfolio company, its existing presence in Greece is limited to Circet Hellas, which operates exclusively in the telecommunications sector.

The Commission determined that the concentration does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with the requirements of competition in the relevant markets, noting that no horizontal or vertical market overlaps were identified.
