Circle and Volante partner to integrate USDC into banking platforms

Volante Technologies and Circle have announced a partnership to integrate USDC stablecoin workflows directly into Volante’s AI-powered payments platform. This collaboration aims to embed stablecoin functionality within the existing payment-orchestration layer used by major financial institutions, rather than requiring banks to build separate digital-asset systems.

The integration will allow banks to evaluate various USDC-related processes, including minting, redemption, beneficiary wallet registration, funding, and wallet-to-wallet payments. By incorporating these workflows into existing infrastructure, the partnership seeks to treat stablecoins as a backend settlement option alongside conventional payment rails.

Volante Technologies currently provides technology to four of the top five global corporate banks and seven of the top ten U.S. banks. While the collaboration provides the necessary infrastructure for these institutions to explore and deploy USDC functions, it does not imply that all Volante clients are currently offering stablecoin payments.
