Circle CFO Jeremy Fox-Geen to step down by end of 2026
Circle Internet Group has announced that Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen will step down by the end of 2026. Fox-Geen, who joined the company in May 2021, will remain in his position until December 2026 or until a successor is named to ensure an orderly transition. The company has engaged an executive search firm to find a replacement.
Fox-Geen’s tenure included navigating the company through the 2022–23 crypto market downturn and overseeing Circle’s $1.2 billion initial public offering on the NYSE. He also managed the financial operations and reserve oversight for USDC, Circle’s dollar-pegged stablecoin, which currently holds a market capitalization of approximately $75 billion.
In a simultaneous leadership change, co-founder P. Sean Neville has resigned from Circle’s board of directors for personal reasons. The board will decrease from eight members to seven. Circle stated that both departures are orderly and involve no disagreements with management.
