Circolo Canottieri Ortigia promotes Bruno Bordone to first team

Circolo Canottieri Ortigia 1928 has officially announced the promotion of attacker Bruno Bordone to the first team for the 2026/2027 season. Born in 2009, Bordone is a product of the club’s own academy, having spent his formative years within the Ortigia youth system.

Bordone has achieved significant success at the youth international level, earning a world silver medal in 2024 and a European gold medal in 2025 with the Italian Under-16 national team. His recent club experience includes playing in Serie B and Serie A2 with the Ortigia Academy, as well as a Serie A1 call-up in October 2025 during a match against Savona.
