Circuit Mind secures $25 million to expand AI electronics design platform
Circuit Mind has announced $25 million in new financing, bringing its total funding to $33.4 million. The Series A round was led by Norwest, with participation from existing investors Third Prime, Differential, and Blackhorn, as well as new investor Lightscape VC.
The company plans to use the capital to expand its platform across the full electronics design lifecycle, grow its engineering and sales teams, and establish a U.S. headquarters. Circuit Mind provides an AI platform designed to automate the design, verification, and optimization of circuit boards, aiming to reduce design time from months to weeks and lower bill of materials costs.
Alongside the funding announcement, the company launched its Agentic Verification Engine (AVE). This tool utilizes AI agents to perform design reviews by checking schematics against component datasheets and customer-specific checklists to identify mismatches in pin tables or operating voltages.
