Formula 1 returns to Austin for the 2026 United States Grand Prix

The 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from October 23–25 at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. This event marks the eighteenth stage of the 2026 season.

The race weekend will follow a conventional format including three practice sessions, qualifying on Saturday, and the main race on Sunday, without a Sprint race. Due to time zone differences, the race is expected to take place in the late afternoon.

In the current standings, Kimi Antonelli leads the Drivers' Championship with a significant advantage and has the opportunity to potentially secure the world title in Austin. The 2026 technical regulations feature active aerodynamics and increased electrical power deployment.
