Circular unveils Ring 3 smart ring series at IFA

Circular has unveiled its new Ring 3 series at IFA in Berlin, introducing two distinct models: the Ring 3 Pro and the Ring 3 Slim. Both rings feature integrated NFC chips for contactless payments via Visa and Mastercard, as well as haptic vibration alerts for silent alarms, medication reminders, and guided breathing exercises.

The Ring 3 Pro is the flagship model, constructed from titanium and featuring advanced health monitoring capabilities. It includes an FDA-cleared ECG for atrial fibrillation (AFib) detection, blood pressure trend tracking, and glucose trend estimates. The Pro model offers up to 12 days of battery life.

The Ring 3 Slim is designed as a lighter, more compact option using a biocompatible epoxy. It focuses on essential metrics such as heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and skin temperature, with a battery life of up to 10 days. Both models are water-resistant up to 50 meters and support wireless charging. The series is expected to launch in early 2027.
