Circus events scheduled for Memmingen and Wiesbaden

Zirkus Charles Knie is beginning preparations for a residency at the Stadtpark Neue Welt in Memmingen, Germany. Scheduled from October 22 to October 26, 2026, the production titled ‘SPLASH – Wasser, Show, Emotionen’ features a portable water arena described by the company as the largest of its kind in Europe. The arena holds 100,000 liters of water and utilizes 300 pumps to create illuminated fountains reaching up to 15 meters in height. The setup involves a significant logistical operation using over 40 semi-trailers to transport the circus tent, which seats 1,239 spectators, along with technical equipment and living quarters.

In Wiesbaden, the European Youth Circus is set to take place from October 22 to October 25, 2026. The event brings together young circus talent from various countries to perform at the Dern’schen Gelände. The festival relies on a large behind-the-scenes technical team to manage the logistics of the international performers and specialized equipment.
