Circus SE appoints former Compass Group manager to Board of Directors

Circus SE has appointed Jürgen Thamm to its Board of Directors following a shareholder vote that yielded 98.35 percent approval. Thamm succeeds Mark Harré, who is stepping down after nearly three years.

Thamm brings over 20 years of experience in the global foodservice sector, having previously served as Regional Director for Continental Europe and as a member of the Executive Committee at Compass Group. His background includes managing operations across multiple countries and thousands of locations.

Circus SE intends to leverage Thamm’s experience in scaling complex operations to support its robotics rollout. The company aims to have more than 50 autonomous systems in operation across nine countries by the end of the year, targeting both corporate clients and the defense sector.
