Cirebon City begins Rp3.5 billion building basement revitalization

The Cirebon City Government has initiated the revitalization of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) building, focusing initially on the basement area. Out of a total planned budget of approximately Rp10 billion, Rp3.5 billion has been allocated for this first phase.

Regional Secretary Iing Daiman stated that the project is currently in the preparation stage, including the Pre-Construction Meeting (PCM). Due to time constraints before the end of the year, the priority is strengthening the building's lower structure using a ‘jacketing’ method. This involves adding reinforcement layers to foundations or pillars to increase structural capacity. The basement work is targeted for completion by the end of 2026.
