Cirebon police investigate fatal alcohol consumption event

Police in Cirebon Regency, West Java, are investigating a suspected illicit alcohol party that resulted in the deaths of three young men. The incident reportedly took place on Monday night, October 26, 2026, at a residence in Getasan Village, Depok District.

The victims, identified by the initials A (16), R (16), and AB (21), passed away between Wednesday and Thursday following the event. Six other participants reportedly suffered health complications, including severe abdominal pain, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Authorities have seized evidence from the scene, including Bali arrack and alcohol with a 96 percent concentration. Investigators are currently tracing the source of the beverages, with reports suggesting they may have been purchased online or provided by an individual identified by the initial S.
