Cirebon: Woman dies after stabbing attack in Kedawung

Two tragic incidents have been reported in the Cirebon region. In Kedawung, a 59-year-old woman identified as AS passed away at RS Permata Cirebon following a stabbing attack.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night, September 23, 2026, at approximately 7:30 PM in Blok Pecilon Dukuh, Sutawinangun Village. While AS and another individual, RH (52), were conversing on a terrace, a suspect identified by the initials SM allegedly attacked them with a silver folding knife. RH sustained a wound to the hip, while AS was stabbed twice.

Local police, including Kedawung Police Chief Kompol Ahmad Nasori, confirmed that the suspect was apprehended by residents and police in the Jalan Simega area. The weapon used in the attack was seized by authorities.
