Cireneos presents Rancho Cero program in Salto

The non-profit organization Cireneos is bringing its ‘Rancho Cero’ program to Salto, Uruguay, as part of its ‘No Vamos a Parar’ national tour. The presentation will take place at the Teatro Larrañaga at 19:30, with free admission and a request for attendees to bring non-perishable food donations.

Rancho Cero is a program designed to transform precarious dwellings into safe homes, serving as a foundation for improved health, education, and opportunity. Cireneos, founded by priest Juan Andrés ‘El Gordo’ Verde, operates on three pillars: housing, education, and faith. The organization has reached over 300 families nationwide to date.

This event in Salto is the second of four scheduled stops this week, which also include Durazno, Artigas, and Rivera. During the tour, the Cireneos team will visit families, meet with local volunteers, deliver homes, and work toward agreements with local municipalities to strengthen community ties and support for the program.
