Ciri to lead narrative in The Witcher 4

The upcoming title The Witcher 4 is expected to feature Cirilla of Cintra as the adult protagonist, marking a shift in narrative focus from Geralt of Rivia. As Ciri takes on the role of a developing monster hunter, the story will follow her independent trajectory through the northern kingdoms.

While specific regions remain largely unannounced, the northern kingdom of Kovir has been confirmed, and the Skellige archipelago is considered a highly probable setting. This could lead to a reunion between Ciri and the an Craite family, including Hjalmar and Cerys an Craite, who may serve as allies, political tools, or romantic interests.
