Ciro Nogueira: PF finds list of names and values in residence grill

During the fifth phase of Operation Compliance Zero, the Brazilian Federal Police (PF) seized a handwritten list from a barbecue grill at the residence of Senator Ciro Nogueira in Brasília. The document, which was discovered after the Supreme Federal Court (STF) lifted secrecy on the investigation, contains names listed under the heading “Câmara” alongside numerical annotations that investigators believe may represent financial values.

The Federal Police have identified several names on the list that likely correspond to prominent members of the Chamber of Deputies, including Arthur Lira, Hugo Motta, Elmar Nascimento, Doutor Luizinho, and Isnaldo Bulhões. Investigators noted that the meaning of the numbers next to these names remains unclarified.

A domestic worker at the residence informed agents that Senator Nogueira had instructed her to burn the papers, describing them as “old or useless,” but the material was not destroyed before the police arrived. The operation is part of a broader investigation into the “Master case,” which targets suspected corruption, money laundering, organized crime, and crimes against the National Financial System.
