Cirque Bouffon premieres ‘Cupido’ show in Saarbrücken

Cirque Bouffon premiered its new show, ‘Cupido’, in Saarbrücken at the Tbilisser Platz. Directed by founder Frédéric Zipperlin, the production follows the ‘Nouveau Cirque’ style, blending humor, poetry, and live music with acrobatics. The performance features characters navigating themes of love and magic, including a unique act where Anja Marina Habegger plays the harp while performing strapado acrobatics.

The ensemble, which has operated for over 25 years and maintains popularity in the Saarland region, utilized a full tent for the premiere, receiving standing ovations for its narrative-driven approach to circus arts.
