Cirque du Soleil brings KURIOS to Barcelona

Cirque du Soleil is bringing its production, ‘KURIOS – Gabinete de Curiosidades’, to Barcelona. The show is scheduled to run from September 3 to October 18, 2026, at the Cultural District of L’Hospitalet.

To mark the arrival of the show, an exclusive event was held at Casa Vicens, the first house designed by Antoni Gaudí. The event aimed to connect the imaginative and scientific spirit of the steampunk-inspired production with the visionary architecture of the Catalan architect.

The production features a retro-futuristic aesthetic inspired by late 19th-century science and inventions, utilizing elements such as gears, gramophones, and mechanical structures. The arrival of KURIOS also marks the end of an eight-year period for the Canadian company in the Bellvitge area of L’Hospitalet.
