Former UFC interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane has identified two potential opponents for his return to the octagon. During a Q&A session alongside Nassourdine Imavov, the French fighter expressed interest in facing current heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira.

A bout with Aspinall would offer Gane the opportunity to compete for the undisputed heavyweight title and unify the belts, seeking a definitive conclusion to their previous encounter which ended prematurely in the first round.

Gane also proposed a rematch with Alex Pereira. Their previous meeting was marked by controversy regarding alleged illegal strikes, and Gane views a second fight as a way to address those criticisms and settle the rivalry.
