Institutional investors cut holdings in Cisco Systems and Sysco Corp

DCF Advisers LLC reduced its position in Cisco Systems Inc. by 16.7% in the fourth quarter, selling 10,000 shares and ending the period with 50,000 shares valued at roughly $3.85 million, which represents about 1.0% of the fund’s portfolio. The filing noted that other large investors, including Vanguard and Norges Bank, were increasing their Cisco stakes during the same period.

Heartland Advisors Inc. decreased its stake in Sysco Corp. by 16.4% in the fourth quarter, selling 30,399 shares and holding 155,123 shares worth approximately $11.43 million after the transaction. Institutional investors collectively own about 83.4% of Sysco, with several other firms such as Montag A & Associates and United Community Bank expanding their positions in the food‑service distributor during the quarter.
