Cisco opens AI network testing laboratory in Kraków

Cisco has opened a new Customer Experience (CX) laboratory in Kraków, Poland, designed to help clients test and verify critical infrastructure upgrades before production deployment. The facility is specifically equipped to handle AI and machine learning workloads, providing low-latency networks and high-density computing capabilities.

The laboratory is one of Cisco’s largest network research and validation centers in the region. It features nearly 400 server racks with a total IT power capacity of 4 MW. To ensure security, 100 of these racks are isolated in a dedicated segment for handling confidential client data and telemetry.

Target users include banks, hospitals, and telecommunications operators looking to modernize their networks for AI requirements. Beyond testing, the site will serve as a training hub where Cisco engineers, graduates, and academic professionals can gain practical experience in AI networking, programmability, and cybersecurity.
