Cisco reshuffles Australia and New Zealand leadership
Cisco has announced leadership changes within its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) team. Rodney Hamill, who served as the channel chief for nearly five years, has transitioned into the role of managing director, South. In this new capacity, Hamill will oversee operations in Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and Tasmania.
These changes follow the recent launch of the Cisco 360 Partner Programme, which replaced the long-standing Value Incentive Programme (VIP). The new program is designed to integrate incentives with a focus on AI and cross-selling, emphasizing end-user outcomes and the entire customer journey. This strategic shift aligns with Cisco’s recent emphasis on AI-driven innovations and partner-led network security.
