Cisco Systems stock gains from several institutional investors' increased holdings

Capital Wealth Planning LLC increased its Cisco stake by 75.6% in the fourth quarter, ending the period with 134,744 shares valued at about $10.3 million. Other investors such as Smithfield Trust Co, Main Management ETF Advisors, Cairn Investment Group, Juncture Wealth Strategies and Clearwater Capital Advisors also raised their positions, together adding several thousand shares and holdings worth up to $2.6 million each.

TIAA Trust National Association boosted its holding by 4.5% in the same quarter, finishing with 223,648 shares valued at roughly $17.2 million. New positions were also taken by MidAtlantic Capital Management, EQ Wealth Advisors, the Board of the Pension Protection Fund, Anfield Capital Management and Joseph Group Capital Management, each investing between $25,000 and $38,000. Institutional investors now own about 73% of Cisco’s outstanding shares, and analysts have raised price targets and upgraded ratings, reflecting optimism around the company’s AI‑driven networking and security business.
