CISF and IIT Ropar partner for aviation cybersecurity training

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Airport Sector has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar to implement a specialized cybersecurity training program.

The initiative involves a six-week residential training program, conducted on a no-cost basis through the IIT Ropar SCALE Foundation. The program is designed to develop a specialized cadre of personnel capable of detecting, responding to, and managing emerging cyber threats.

This partnership aims to bolster the cyber resilience of critical aviation infrastructure, which is essential for preventing operational, economic, and security disruptions. The training will provide both theoretical and practical exposure to critical areas of cybersecurity to strengthen the capabilities of the Central Armed Police Forces.
