CISF conducts blood donation drive and anti-hijacking exercise

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has conducted two distinct operations in India involving public health and security preparedness.

In New Delhi, the CISF and the AIIMS Delhi Blood Centre organized a large-scale voluntary blood donation drive at the CISF NHCC Hospital in Mahipalpur. The event was inaugurated by CISF Director General Praveer Ranjan, who participated in the donation alongside senior officers. Approximately 500 CISF personnel took part in the drive to support community welfare and public health.

Separately, the CISF conducted the annual Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise (AHME) 2026 at Tirupati Airport. The drill simulated a hijacked aircraft landing to test the crisis-response capabilities and inter-agency coordination of several organizations, including the State Police, Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), and the Intelligence Bureau (IB). The exercise aimed to evaluate mobilization speed and response procedures during emergency scenarios.
