CISL Cosenza launches awareness campaign against violence

The CISL Cosenza provincial women's coordination and the UST CISL of Cosenza have announced an itinerant awareness campaign titled “The courage to be there to change.” Scheduled for November, the initiative aims to combat physical and economic abuse in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The campaign consists of four thematic stages across the province: Cerzeto on November 12 to address the roots of violence, Amantea on November 19 to discuss economic autonomy, Cariati on November 23 to focus on workplace harassment, and San Giovanni in Fiore on November 25 to address verbal abuse and isolation.

In addition to addressing violence, the tour serves as a platform to discuss labor rights, including proposals from the CISL National Green Book regarding wages, pensions, and welfare. The events will also connect to the national “The Pact that Unites” initiative.
