CISL FP Secures Part‑Time Hours Increase and Cuts Ties with Irccs Oasi in Sicily

The CISL FP union representing public‑sector workers in the provinces of Agrigento, Caltanissetta and Enna announced that the provincial council approved the 2026 budget, raising the weekly schedule for part‑time municipal staff from 34 to 35 hours. Union secretary Salvatore Parello praised the result and thanked President Giuseppe Pendolino, Vice‑President for Human Resources Domenico Scicolone and the human‑resources department for honoring the commitment.

In a separate move, the same union terminated its labour‑relations agreement with the Irccs Oasi Maria SS health institute in Troina after the centre paid only half of the June salaries and delayed wage payments for 2024‑2025. The CISL FP cited a long‑standing crisis, wage disparities with management and the risk of further arrears, and warned of possible legal action to recover the owed sums.
