CI&T executive calls for disciplined innovation in Brazil

Bob Wollheim, Global CMO of CI&T, has emphasized that Brazil must combine its inherent creativity with greater discipline and strategic planning to advance its position in the global technology and artificial intelligence ecosystems. He noted that for the country to progress, it must adopt a global perspective rather than relying solely on the domestic market.

Wollheim argued that advancing in AI requires pragmatic, long-term strategies rooted in investment and education. While acknowledging Brazil's qualified technological workforce, he identified the primary obstacle as the difficulty of transforming creative ideas into organized, scalable processes. He suggested that while Brazil may not need to lead the development of core large language models, it can thrive within the vast economic ecosystem surrounding AI.
