cit GmbH supports Germany's integration into EU digital waste system

cit GmbH is acting as a technology partner for the LAG GADSYS (Länderarbeitsgemeinschaft Gemeinsame Abfall DV-Systeme) to integrate Germany into the European Digital Waste Shipment System (DIWASS).

Following new EU mandates effective May 21, 2026, information and documentation regarding cross-border waste shipments must be transmitted electronically. The DIWASS platform, operated by the European Commission, aims to unify information exchange by connecting waste management companies with relevant authorities across EU member states.

To facilitate this transition, LAG GADSYS is utilizing its existing online services and specialized procedures built on the cit intelliForm low-code platform. This approach leverages established German infrastructure, such as ASYS, to ensure companies and authorities can comply with the new digital requirements and streamlined documentation processes.
