Cité internationale des arts announces new residency programs for Haitian and Moroccan artists

The Institut français, in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts, has launched new residency programs in Haiti and Morocco to support international artistic mobility.

In Haiti, creators can apply for residencies in Paris lasting 3, 6, or 9 months between April 2027 and April 2028. Applications for this program must be submitted to the Institut français in Haiti by September 15, 2026. Eligible candidates must have resided outside of France for at least five years and possess partner support for their projects.

In Morocco, the Atlasarts program, supported by the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, will select eight artists for a three-month residency in Paris from January 5 to March 26, 2027. Selected participants will receive an individual studio-residence in the Marais district and a monthly stipend of 1,000 euros. The application deadline for Moroccan artists is October 15, 2026.
