CITEpesquero, Acuícola y Agroindustrial Piura delivers over 2,170 tech services in first half of 2026

The CITEpesquero, Acuícola y Agroindustrial Piura centre of the Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción (ITP), linked to Peru's Ministry of Production, reported delivering 2,171 technology services between January and June 2026. The services supported more than 200 production units in the fisheries, aquaculture and agro‑industrial sectors of northern Peru, aiming to boost competitiveness, productivity and innovation.

Activities included over 1,890 laboratory tests, 100 technical training sessions, more than 70 specialised information‑technology services and 69 on‑site technical assists. The centre also promoted research, development and innovation (I+D+i) projects, product design and broader productivity support, positioning itself as a strategic ally for regional firms seeking higher value‑added products and compliance with national and international quality standards.
