Citi Prestige Card value shifts amid rising fees and reduced benefits

The Citi Prestige Card in Singapore is experiencing a shift in its value proposition due to increased annual fees and reduced benefits. While the card continues to offer a ‘4th Night Free’ hotel benefit through the Citi ThankYou portal, this perk is now limited to two uses per calendar year.

Recent changes include the removal of unlimited lounge access and an increase in the minimum spend requirement for the welcome offer to S$14,000, effective January 2026. Although cardholders receive 32,000 miles for paying the annual fee, critics note that earn rates are lagging behind competing cards in the S$120,000 income segment.

In contrast, the invitation-only Citi Ultima Card remains positioned for ultra-high net worth individuals, offering exclusive experiences such as private island access and supercar drives.
