Citi rolls out premium travel credits on Strata Elite and AAdvantage Globe cards

Citi’s Strata Elite credit card provides an annual $200 Splurge Credit that can be claimed twice across a calendar year at selected merchants such as 1stDibs, Best Buy, Live Nation and American Airlines, subject to registration and merchant‑of‑record rules. The card also offers a $200 Blacklane travel credit split into two $100 semi‑annual installments, applied automatically when the card is used for Blacklane trips.

The Citi AAdvantage Globe Mastercard, co‑branded with American Airlines, currently promises a limited‑time welcome bonus of 90,000 AAdvantage miles after $5,000 of spend within four months. The card carries a $350 annual fee and includes a suite of travel perks: up to 15,000 Loyalty Points annual “Flight Streak” bonus, four Admirals Club Globe Passes, a $99 companion certificate each anniversary, first checked bag free, preferred boarding, annual credits for Turo and in‑flight purchases, a $100 “Splurge Credit”, and a Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit every four years.
