Citi ThankYou program expands airline transfer options

Citi has introduced new transfer capabilities and promotions for its ThankYou rewards program in the United States.

Cathay Pacific is currently offering a 10% transfer bonus for Citi ThankYou members. Between October 25 and November 14, 2026, cardholders can transfer points at a rate of 1,100 Cathay Pacific Asia Miles for every 1,000 Citi ThankYou points, an increase from the standard 1:1 ratio.

Additionally, Citi ThankYou points can now be transferred to Copa ConnectMiles. The transfer ratio depends on the specific card held by the user. Premium cards, including the Citi Strata Elite, Citi Strata Premier, Prestige, and AT&T Access More, offer a 1:1 transfer rate. Other cards, such as the Citi ThankYou Preferred, Citi Strata, Citi Double Cash, and Citi Custom Cash, transfer at a rate of 700 miles per 1,000 points.
