Citi updates bonus eligibility for Strata card lineup

Citigroup has updated the eligibility requirements for welcome bonuses on its Strata card lineup, including the Citi Strata Elite, Citi Strata Premier, and Citi Strata cards.

Previously, customers were eligible for a new account bonus if they had not received one for that specific card within the previous 48 months. The updated terms remove the 48-month timeframe, stating instead that a new account bonus is unavailable if a customer currently has or has previously held a Citi Strata Elite account. This change effectively shifts the eligibility from a recurring 48-month cycle to a once-per-lifetime restriction for these specific products.
