Cities: Skylines – Expanded Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2
Cities: Skylines – Expanded Edition, an optimized version of the city-building game developed by Colossal Order, is now available for the Nintendo Switch 2. Published by Paradox Interactive in collaboration with Tantalus Media, the edition is priced at $49/€49/£41.49.
This version introduces several technical and gameplay enhancements, including improved graphics, better performance, and expanded building tools. Key features include the ability to build across 25 tiles—an increase from the original nine-tile limit—and a map editor for customizing landscapes. Players can also utilize an environmental control panel to adjust real-time elements such as weather, fog, and time of day.
The Expanded Edition includes four expansions, a content creator pack, two radio stations, and three additional DLCs. The game offers two primary graphical modes: a Performance mode targeting 60 FPS with upscaling, and a Quality mode targeting 30 FPS for higher visual fidelity. It also adds support for keyboard and mouse inputs.
