Citigroup raises Bitcoin price target to $113,000
Citigroup has significantly raised its twelve-month price target for Bitcoin from $82,000 to $113,000, citing a resurgence of capital into American crypto ETFs and favorable financial market conditions. The bank anticipates approximately $5 billion in inflows into Bitcoin products over the next year, driven largely by financial advisors and wealth managers. Additionally, Citigroup increased its Ethereum forecast from $2,240 to $3,028.
Market analysis from Glassnode suggests Bitcoin is approaching a critical technical threshold known as the Mean MVRV Price, currently estimated around $96,700. Historical data indicates that significant price surges have followed breakthroughs of this level in previous cycles, with gains ranging from 230% to over 3,100%, though the magnitude of these increases has trended downward in recent periods.
