Seiko releases Presage models honoring the historic Laurel wristwatch

Seiko has introduced new models in the Presage Classic Series Craftsmanship, designed to honor the Laurel, the company’s first wristwatch released in 1913. These new timepieces, specifically the HCC005J1 and HCC006J1, modernize the historical design through traditional Japanese artisanal techniques.

The HCC005J1 features a white enamel dial crafted by master Mitsuru Yokosawa, while the HCC006J1 utilizes deep black Urushi lacquer. Both models incorporate design elements from the original Laurel, such as harmoniously proportioned Roman numerals and a small seconds sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position.
