CitizenGO petitions HRT to remove controversial children's content

The civic initiative CitizenGO has launched a petition demanding that Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) urgently remove controversial content from its children's programming. The protest follows an episode of “The Princess and the Pea” aired on HRT 3, which featured a man in a dress and ballet skirt in a performance resembling a drag act.

CitizenGO claims the content was broadcast to young children without parental warning and represents a trend of introducing “radical gender ideology” into children's media. The group is calling on HRT Director General Robert Šveb to remove the segment from all archives and digital services, provide an explanation regarding its approval, and establish guidelines to ensure children's programming remains free from ideological content.
