Citra de Tomelloso theater group wins 14 awards

The Citra de Tomelloso theater group has achieved significant success in the national amateur theater scene, securing 14 awards and two nominations across three different competitions in Spain.

Performing their production of Lope de Vega’s ‘La moza del cántaro’, the group competed in Moratalaz, Valdemorillo, and Torrijos. In Moratalaz, the company earned eight awards, including first prize and the Audience Award, alongside individual honors for best direction (Alberto Palacios), best lead actress (Cristina Carrasco), and best supporting actress (Alba Crespo).

In Valdemorillo, the group received the award for best production and best supporting actress for Alba Crespo. Finally, in Torrijos, the company took second prize, with additional awards for best direction, best set design, and best supporting actor. These achievements are notable given the company has only been active for one year.
