Citroen Berlingo returns to Japan with new 7-seat option and Sable color

Stellantis Japan has announced the launch of a new edition of the Citroen Berlingo MPV in the Japanese market. The update features the return of the popular ‘Sable’ color, a soft sand hue with grey undertones that was previously discontinued in 2022 after accounting for approximately 70% of Berlingo sales.

The Berlingo lineup includes both a standard 5-seater model and a long-body version capable of seating 7 passengers across three rows. The long-body variant measures 4,770mm in length and features sliding doors and independent, adjustable rear seats. Both configurations are powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Limited quantities are available for the new Sable edition, with specific models such as the MAX BlueHDi and the XTR Grip Control Package priced between 4.67 million and 4.99 million yen.
