Citroen rollover near Olsztynek injures three
On July 30, a 44‑year‑old driver of a Citroën attempted to overtake a Suzuki on national road 58 near the village of Dąb in the Olsztynek municipality. The maneuver was unsafe; the Suzuki was turning left while the Citroën veered into the roadside ditch and rolled over. The Citroën carried two adults and a teenager, all of whom were taken to hospitals with non‑life‑threatening injuries. The Suzuki driver was unharmed. Police documented the scene and opened an investigation, urging drivers to exercise caution during the busy summer travel period.
The incident highlights the risks of improper overtaking on rural roads and follows a police appeal for heightened driver vigilance during peak traffic weeks.
