Citroën C3 Aircross Wins Autobest Best Users' Car of Europe 2026

The Citroën C3 Aircross was awarded the Autobest "Best Users' Car of Europe 2026" at a ceremony in Paris. The prize, presented by Autobest chairman Dan Vardie to Citroën CEO Xavier Chardon, recognized the model as the most user‑friendly vehicle on the market. For the first time the award combined the expert jury’s assessment with a public vote across Europe. Judges highlighted the car’s spacious interior, flexible three‑row seating for up to seven passengers and a range of powertrains including petrol, hybrid and electric variants.

In India, the updated Aircross is being sold with a 1.2‑litre naturally‑aspirated engine or a turbo‑charged version, paired with manual or 6‑speed automatic gearboxes. Prices start at roughly ₹8.89 lakh for the base model and rise to about ₹14.57 lakh for the top‑end turbo automatic trim. Safety upgrades include six airbags, electronic stability control, rear‑parking assistance and a strong Bharat NCAP safety score, positioning the SUV as a practical family choice for the Indian market.
