Citroën CEO visits Tofaş production hub in Bursa

Citroën CEO Xavier Chardon visited the Tofaş Bursa Factory in Turkey to inspect production processes and technological infrastructure. Hosted by Tofaş CEO Cengiz Eroldu, the visit highlighted the factory's expanding role within the Stellantis group as a multi-brand production hub.

A key focus of the visit was the commencement of a new production phase under the K9 project. Chardon reviewed the production lines for vehicles under this project, noting the facility's engineering capabilities. Following the production of Citroën Jumpy and SpaceTourer models under the K0 project, plans are also in place to begin local production of the Berlingo model at the Bursa plant.

Chardon noted that Turkey is a critical market for Citroën, stating it is expected to be the brand's second-largest global market in 2025. He also highlighted the brand's performance in the region, noting a record market share of 5.2% maintained during the first eight months of 2026.
